Can you imagine yourself leaving behind a life of luxury and returning to simplicity? Well, take a cue from this gentleman who quit his high-paying job in the US and came back to India.

A Karnataka resident, Kishore Indukuri is an engineering graduate from IIT Kharagpur. He moved to the States to pursue his Master’s degree as well as a Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts. After completing his education, he started working with Intel but he was never really content with his job.

Wanting to return to his roots, Indukuri came back to India.

He figured out that there were very limited options for safe and hygienic milk in Hyderabad and decided to start his own dairy in the year 2012 with just 20 cows.

They started milking the cows themselves and delivered the milk directly to the doorsteps of their customers.

By 2018, Indukuri’s dairy farm, which goes by the name of Sid’s Farm after his son Sidharth, was catering to 6,000 customers in and around the city.

Today, the farm delivers milk to nearly 10,000 customers every day and has 120 employees with annual revenue of Rs 40 crore. Even during the pandemic, Indukuri’s farm has continued serving its customers and wants to expand its product categories and services to other areas as well.

Sid’s Farm raises Rs 8.1 cr in bridge round from its loyal customers
